Adjunct Lecturer / Faculty(Contractual)

Instruction: Provide effective instruction in undergraduate Computer Science courses, including regular program courses, capstone projects, work experience, and senior-level specialized courses.

Student Engagement: Foster a student-centered learning environment that respects and integrates students' diverse backgrounds and traditions.

Assessment and Evaluation: Complete assessments, evaluations, second marking, and prepare sessions for re-sit exams. Prepare module reports for topics delivered.

Curriculum Development: Assist in the development and updating of curriculum materials and teaching methodologies.

Research and Outreach: Engage in applied research and participate in community outreach activities, enhancing the College’s presence and impact within the community.

Policy Development: Contribute to the development and preservation of system-wide and directorate-specific policies.

Academic Participation: Actively participate in academic and extracurricular events at the College and within the community.

Additional Responsibilities:

Teaching Load: Adjunct Faculty/Faculty teaching loads are assigned based on the institution's needs.

Professional Development: Stay updated with the latest developments in the field and incorporate relevant advancements into the curriculum.

Reporting Structure:

Report to the Program Director and the Academic Director of the Division.

Employment Type:

Temporary/Contract teaching staff employed within the University to enhance student learning through practical knowledge and varied experience.
