Job summary:
Our Client in Ras Al Khaimah is looking for Dynamic Graphic Designer.
As a graphic designer you'll create eye-catching visuals and will need to be creative, flexible and able to work well with others
You'll work on a variety of products and activities, such as websites, advertising banners, books, magazines, posters, flyers, brochures, exhibitions and displays, corporate communications and corporate identity, etc.
The work demands creative flair, up-to-date knowledge of industry software and a professional approach to time, costs and deadlines.
Job responsibilities
Collaborates with all employees and/or other project participants to understand assignment, audience, and intended message.
Creates original visual media that communicates the desired feeling or message in an engaging and unified way.
Chooses graphics, clip art, and stock photography, as appropriate; may enhance choices with simple drawings.
Selects fonts for written copy; produces sample layout for approval by client or other project participants.
Prepares drafts of design work/flyers and provides samples to editorial or other appropriate staff or departments for review.
Revises projects as necessary based on collaborative feedback process.
Consults with Digital Marketing Manager/Admission Head, and/or other team members as needed on complex or specialized projects.
Prepares print orders and assembly instructions on notification of final approval.
Maintains records of billable project time as required.
Ideally have an understanding of digital media, printing process, photography, illustration and typography
Demonstrate strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud
Ability to capture and edit short videos.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Job requirements
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
o Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite, especially Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop or other similar design software.
o Video and motion graphics editing knowledge is a plus.
o Organized with attention to detail.
o Ability to work independently on an assignment.
o Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team.
o Bachelor’s degree required; major or significant coursework in Art, Graphic Design, or related disciplines highly preferred.
o Experience on working with all major Adobe software, animation software and other editing tools
o At least three years of related work experience highly preferred.
